Hello! As promised, here’s another OMD2 challenge before it closes tomorrow! Make sure you enter those last-minute entries! Yes, I have skipped challenges and jumped from day 28, to day 9 but there we go. Creativity and ideas can’t be forced, they just happen at the most random times. This probably explains why I am so random… 🙄
In my last post, after going slightly off topic and talking about my holiday, I said that I had bought some new nail polish! I’m planning on posting an overview of my purchases tomorrow but I decided to feature two of the polishes today in the OMD2 jelly challenge!
FLORMAR! I love love love this brand! unfortunately though, there are no Flormar stores in the UK 😦 Why!? Although, there is a store in Tenerife which is the perfect excuse for me to buy half of the store when I visit and stock up on these polishes 🙂 check out the Flormar website to see if there’s a store near you!
I personally thought that the Icy Top polish by Flormar looked like jelly with sprinkles inside! How amazing is this polish! This is why I decided to use it in today’s post. I started by applying a base coat, base colour (also by Flormar in the shade 450, more on that tomorrow) and I then added random blobs of the Icy Top, jelly looking polish! This design is so simple, I don’t think I should even call it a design. I didn’t even use a dotting tool! I still really like these nails though. They also remind me of water drops and I just love the texture! I’m easily pleased sometimes, as you can tell.
This Icy Top polish is very similar to the OPI sheer tints except it contains little white strands and white dots. Another reason why I love it. I probably wouldn’t wear the polish on its own but it looks really good on top of the 450 colour.
The best part is, this polish is available in a variety of colours! This is the shade IT01 (If you like rants about polishes without names, tomorrow’s post is for you… 😈 ) I can’t find them on the English Flormar website to check but, I believe you can purchase this polish in green, red and a clear version available.
I applied a top coat after completing this mani to ensure that it lasts a little while longer! That’s all for this post! Thanks for reading and be sure to check out the other designs in this category!
